We have to start with the terrible news that our friend Pete Medhurst passed away yesterday.

And it's just shocking news in a way, but maybe it's not shocking news based on what he was

battling.

He was battling brain cancer.

And it just went so fast from when we heard that he was first admitted to the hospital

just a couple months ago to passing away yesterday.

And, you know, I was thinking about it.

We all thought about it yesterday.

I was thinking about the guy's smile, man.

Like, Pete, I feel like Pete just made people feel good around here.

It's weird because he's an awesome guy, and everybody kind of had the same sentiment, I think.

It's like, wow, I never met a harder working.

First of all, he was supremely gifted.

He could call any game.

We all know that.

We talked about it at times.

You know, we'd have him in here i mean like what are you doing today what gave me a umping what what field

are you uh aligning like i'm calling like navy water pole or you know like yeah volleyball you can do

anything it's actually unfabble to think how many jobs he had it's ridiculous. And how he could juggle it all.

You'd need like, I would think you'd need 48 hours in a day.

Yeah.

Here was the dichotomy a little bit, though, that I, that was struck with me, was that he was this hardworking guy, this super talented guy.
