| 1:01.1 | First thing we want to understand about New Year's resolutions is the intention behind them |
| 1:05.7 | usually is to better some aspect of our lives. |
| 1:10.8 | 365 days have passed, and during that time, maybe we haven't been fully on top of our health, |
| 1:16.6 | or we haven't been on top of our finances, or our relationships, or maybe we had an epiphany |
| 1:22.0 | about our work not being particularly fulfilling, or we feel stuck in some other area of life. And what most people do is they |
| 1:29.5 | tend to outsource the blame to the economy or to their boss or to the politicians or some force |

| 1:41.5 | changes. I was actually teasing a friend of mine the other day who |
| 1:44.6 | was trying to convince me that she hated her job, but she couldn't do anything about it. And I said, where is he? And she said, who? I said, the guy. She said, what guy? I said, the guy who shows up to your house every morning and forces you to go to that job. Where is he? And she said, what? The point is no one is forcing you to work at this |
