Turn with me to two openings this evening. We're going to go to Romans, the 8th chapter, and then 1st Corinthians 2. Romans 8, 1st Corinthians 2. Now, like we said, on our last session, we're going to get into some topics that are not suitable for young children.

And, but I mean, it's what the Bible talks about.

So unless you're 13 or older, you may not stay in the service this evening.

Everybody understand that?

There are some things that small children should not hear.

Okay?

I'm not going to say bad things to you, but I mean there's some topics and subjects that the Bible

deals very explicitly about that are just not appropriate for small children.

We've been talking, began last week, talking about the spiritual man. And last week talking about the spiritual man and we're talking about

being spiritual versus being carnal and fleshy and the bible has a lot to say about this

romans chapter eight and verse five for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh.

But they that are after the spirit, the things of the spirit.

For to be carnally minded is what?

Death.

But to be spiritually minded is life and peace, because the carnal mind is enmity against God,

for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But you're not in the flesh, but in the spirit.

If so be that the spirit of God dwell in you.

Now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, he's none of his.

And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin,

but the spirit is life or alive because of righteousness.
