tells us when we're here for the 50th time. When the sons of God came into the daughters of man, they bore children to them. They were mighty men. We're old and men of renown. That's kind of where we left off last week. So go and watch part one. We're now going to talk about how giants and animals sinned against one another.

Yeah. So it's hard to say saying all of this out loud. It's hard to pick up where we left off because we were like right in the middle of it. But we're also approaching the hour mark. And we're trying to keep these closer to a half hour to 40 minutes. Yes, there's just so much there. And God help us. We're not going to have to do a part three of this because it's just we're going to we're going to go on and expound after this. There's someone we absolutely adore you in the comments. a 10 part series. We just might because there is so much we want to talk about, but we just are constrained by time. And I already have a hard time like parsing things out, especially something like this succinctly and being very like, you know, even right now, like I'm just rambling, but it's hard to put succinct language to all of this because it's so first off, it's so broad and so all encompassing, but it's also hard for us to like get our mind wrapped around a lot of this.

So by God's grace, we're going to follow up this second rebellion here and jump back in where we left off last week, which was going through the book of first Enoch, the first part of that called the book of the watchers. And we had talked about what is what the these fallen angels called the watchers that we're going to see here in a little bit.

The things the knowledge and the things that they had taught humans and human these their wives, these human woman, excuse me, certain things that was never for man to know, not that God was trying to hold us back from knowledge, but

he wanted to protect us because if all things were known, he knew that we would be let us stray and destroy ourselves, right? That's why

Deuteronomy 2929 says the secret things belong to God, but that what she's revealed to us, he has revealed to us is for our knowledge, right?

So because you could argue like, why did God make marijuana? Why did he create like, what is cocaine made out of? Like all of these drugs that are made from like plants,

you could argue, well, why did God make that? And it's like, well, man wasn't supposed to know that you could mix this with this and this and create this substance.

Like there were certain things that it's a good point. I never thought of that. Right? Like makes sense. Right? I mean, that's what they tell us here is like the cutting of roots in the enchantments and all that.

Of like mixing this with this chemical and this thing like making them acquainted with plants, you know, yeah, because that's exactly when he said plants, I was like,

Yeah, so we read the first, we read two chapters from first denoc chapter six and chapter seven. So we're going to pick it up right here, just jumping right in in chapter eight, verse one of the book of first

Enoch. I keep saying first denoc because there's like two other books, second and third Enoch, which are completely like whacked that we're never regarded by any church as far as like

scripture or authoritative. So and we want to keep emphasizing that what we are reading is not the Bible. We do not serve this as to be a hundred percent true and factual like we do with God's word.

It could be true and factual, but it's not necessarily inspired by the Holy Spirit as the rest of scripture is so very different. That's a different

making. I know some like the Ethiopian Coptic Church has first denoc in their canon. Where in their in their Bibles. I know, but like where? Oh, it's just part. I don't know where it's like in the collection of other books.

You can't really place that in the middle like proverbs and then book of Enoch.

Could just be like sometimes they're considered like appendix or in the back or I don't know where they put it, but context of what?

It could be between the testaments because it was commonly understood. That's when it was written. But at any rate, we we don't see Enoch as inspired necessarily.
