Summary

The Spirit filled man is the man so filled with wind that he is like what he’s filled with.. Wind.. You don’t know where he comes from, and you don’t know where he’s going. When living by the wind, it can often look like you're living under the control of something that appears out of control. As long as your life is kissed with the governmental control of the wind of the Spirit, the wind will not blow you anywhere but where the Father wants you to go.

0:30.8	Jesus is talking to the religious leaders of his day and he says this. He says
0:36.7	you study the scriptures because you believe in them you have life and they have come to reveal me and you will not come to me.

0:56.7	John 5, I think it starts in verse 39 if I'm right. It feels like it's about verse 39 I don't always get it right but I can tell you what side of the pages on
1:07.8	Right y'all are you like that with it. I tell you it's right here's right here right here in this bottom left corner. So John 5 verse 39 says you
1:14.8	search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life. And these are
1:22.0	they which testify of me. What is these?
1:27.0	scriptures are they that testify of me, but you are not willing to come to me that you may have life.
1:37.0	All right now this is this is important and it's interesting for several reasons.
1:42.0	One is he's trying to tell us the purpose of scripture.
1:49.0	They thought the purpose of scripture was to reveal life. He corrected them and told them the
1:56.7	whole purpose of scripture is to reveal me. You study the scriptures, I think the passion translation says you pour over the
2:07.7	scriptures because you believe that through pouring over the scriptures you're
2:12.1	going to find life.
2:14.4	Now, John uses eternal life initially and life later.
2:19.2	So he says it like this, you study the scriptures
2:21.7	because you believe in them you have eternal life but they have
2:24.4	come to reveal to me to reveal me and you will not come to me to have life.
2:31.8	And John does this on four different occasions. I'm not going to have time to go into all of that, but I'm going to just lay a little groundwork.
