And I definitely think one of these teams has an advantage going into a shot at their second title.

We're recording on Tuesday to get ready for a big

championship week. We're going to take a second to talk about the semifinals, some of the stuff that

maybe I wasn't quite right on, some of the stuff that surprised me. And we're going to do a preview

of the NWSL championship between two very, very good ambitious clubs in the Washington Spirit and

Gotham FC. And then we're going to have a really interesting

conversation with Bay FC defender Abby Dalkemper about some of the things that players think about

when they're going into an offseason, including family planning, which has been an increasing

option for NWSL players throughout the last couple of years, especially after the ratification

of the league's CBA.

So last week, talking about the NWSL postseason, I got to do a little bit of a victory lap

and talk about the things I got right and a few things that I got wrong. This week is going

to be a little

bit more humbling for me. Last week's semifinals results really flipped my expectations. I feel

like there were like notes of things maybe that I predicted in there, but I did not quite get the
