Summary

Thoughts that go unchecked long enough in our minds cause us to stumble and sin against God. It’s the enemy’s plan to let these thoughts fester and grow. However, we must remember that the work of Jesus is FINISHED. Not only has Jesus established a beachhead for us to launch into #Victory—he has provided us with blueprints of the enemy’s plans. In the power of the Holy Spirit and the knowledge of how the enemy operates, we defend our thoughts and break the cycle of sin and temptation! Join us next week as we dive into practical steps to defend ourselves against the enemy.⁣

0:33.0	but I couldn't get all of this message into one message, even someone who preaches as long as I do.

0:42.0	And so today is going to be part A. Next week is going to be part B.
0:46.0	And just kind of tipping you off ahead of time at the end of today's part is going to be depressing.
0:52.0	But next week it's going to be incredibly encouraging and hopeful.
0:57.0	And so I don't know if it's a good idea or not to preach a message that's in two halves like that.
1:02.0	But we are going to talk about the finished work of Jesus at the end.
1:05.0	And there will be hope and victory to everybody who wants to step into that work.
1:09.0	But we're talking about the spiral of sin and temptation.
1:14.0	So anybody even need a message on that?
1:16.0	Are you already pretty well think you could give the message on the spiral of sin and temptation?

1:24.0	Okay, well then I'll talk to about it today about how that works.
