So what have you been up to in Minecraft this week, my friend?

This week I have been moss mining a chunk of a mountain biome all the way down to bedrock.

And this was something that we talked about a bit.

I think when moss was first introduced, we talked about it a bit in in 117, but in 118 is

really where the magic happens because there's so much more of the world to mine.

So yeah, I've been doing that.

I decided to take a look at all distribution by sampling a chunk, and I don't have a beacon

in the survival guide world yet.

And so I thought why not do this with moss, introduce the concept of moss mining to people.

And I am finding that it's not only a good substitute for a beacon, I am thanking myself
