Hello, and if like us, you have been warming your hands up here in the Northern Hemisphere

0:22.9

as the weather starts to turn cold, then you might enjoy our render distance this week

0:28.0

where we've been talking about our preferred methods of staying warm, how our houses are heated

0:32.7

and what Joel likes to cook out on the barbecue when the weather is getting a little chillier,

0:38.2

and also a little bit of arcane on Netflix. So a little preview of what Joel is going

0:44.1

to be talking about in his expanded podcast universe a little bit later. But if you're

0:48.5

interested in any of that, you can get the extended conversation at patreon.com slash

0:52.5

the spawn chunks. So what have you been up to in Minecraft this week? It's been a varied

name that basically just means like 91, I think. But the latest version they've been working on

1:25.1

is bingo v5, and it's played in Minecraft 1.16.5. There's a very easy data pack downloads that

1:32.1

will link in the show notes. You can get it from from Noine Eisner's GitHub. And slice lime has

1:38.0

been playing it Bruno. Dan always been playing it. Both of those guys basically have been getting

1:43.1

me into this as a as a game mode, which I remember playing back in the day with the decidedly

1:48.3

vanilla crew ages ago. And you can play it either competitively in teams. You can play it

1:53.8

cooperatively or you can play it in single player. You install the data pack in a fresh world.

1:58.3

It sets up a lobby where you can generate a bingo card of 25 items. And then it sends you out

2:05.1

into a random spot in a survival world to find them. You do the usual survival progression of

2:10.0

getting yourself some early tools. But then the if you're playing in single player or playing

2:14.9

competitively, you just have to try and scramble to get those items as fast as possible.
