Yeah, we're getting into it a little bit. I'm vaguely getting into D and D behind the scenes all of this new fantasy stuff that is happening in

Minecraft is kind of fueling that a little bit and yes we have to acknowledge that last show was either incredibly well

timed or appallingly timed depending on who you are in the room because last

week we ended up doing an episode a little bit late we put out an episode on Wednesday because Joel was feeling ill at the top of the week and we talked a little bit about the screenshots that Mojang had been putting up on their various Twitter accounts of the Nether update and thought,

hmm, wouldn't it be great if we got a snapshot?

I think I even ended the episode saying, snapshot when in a cheeky kind of way.

Well, it turns out, snapshot about an hour before we publish the

podcast was how it worked out. So we are sitting here mildly chagrined,

incredibly amused and fresh off of a brand new Nether Update snapshot, which is very exciting.

We're going to be getting into that for the majority of this episode, including some

listener email and our general first impressions on the whole update.

But first of all, it is tradition around here for us to chat about what's new in our

Minecraft lives.

So, Joel, what have you been up to in Minecraft this week?

Well, I switched back from Skyblock, not that I'm not going to continue on, but I realize that I, in being so into Skyblock, I kind of neglected the modern city and what I was doing on the Citadel, and I wanted to make sure that I returned to that and I was just in the mood, especially feeling ill last week, even at the tail end of last week when I was able to get back into streaming, I wasn't able to really talk for a lot of you know those streams so
