On April 4th, Brian Hooker and his wife, Lynette, allegedly took a eight-foot dinghy from the

Abaco in, and they took it to their sailboat, which was about two and a half miles away.

And during that trip, allegedly Lynette Hooker was knocked off the dinghy by a three-foot wave, according to Brian,

even though investigation revealed that there were no three-foot waves that night.

He claimed it was 7.30 at night on April 4th.

She's been missing since then.

He never jumped into the water to rescue her. His conduct after that was quite, quite

suspicious, so much so that the Bahamian police took him into custody and they held him for five

days. But now, the Coast Guard, who sees the soulmate sailboat, has some GPS information that totally

turns the story told by Brian Hooker upside down. This is CBS News on a quick clip.

Questions tonight about whether Brian Hooker was truthful with investigators about what

happened to his wife Lynette when she disappeared in the Bahamas last month.

based on recently obtained forensic evidence.

CBS News has learned new forensic evidence appears to contradict Brian Hooker's account of where

he says he was the night his wife Lynette went missing in the Bahamas.

Brian Hooker told Bohemian police Lynette fell out of their dinghy and was swept out to

see the evening of April 4th, and he was lost at sea for several hours. But according to a source

familiar with the investigation, GPS data extracted from at least one device retrieved by law

enforcement identified previously unsearched areas where Brian Hooker may have been that

night and where divers should now look for additional evidence including potentially Lynette's
