Let's begin by looking at chapter two, beginning with verse one.

You began to see, here's a woman that loves God, but she can't get pregnant. It's not her time.

It's God's time. Later on, as they were in the temple, and she went to the temple, she was praying, the priest came out.

Eli said, look, I saw your lips moving.

She said, why are you praying for?

She says, I can't have a child, and I've been asking God for a child.

And then he said, you know what, go home, come back next year and see what happens.

She was pregnant.
