Today on The Solek Show, we are talking to Seth Galina of PFF, he is a senior college football

writer at PFF and the host of the PFF College Football Podcast. Seth's one of the best scheme

guys that there is and he's been big on two high defenses becoming more prolific in the NFL.

And of course we've talked about two high defenses here on the show before Todd Bowles,

the Buccaneer's defense, what they did in the Super Bowl, but that was all before Jonathan

Ganon became the defensive coordinator here in Philadelphia. With the background under Matt

Eberfluss in Indianapolis and Mike Zimmer in Minnesota, Jonathan Ganon is extremely likely

to run a two high defense here in Philadelphia, a massive departure from single high defenses,

Jim Schwartz ran when he was the DC here. Accordingly, I had to have Seth on to talk from a large

scale view about why two high defenses are being popularized and then from a smaller scale view,

what the cults specifically do in their two high structures, how those compare to other two high

schemes that we've seen be successful over recent years and what we should expect from the

Eagles defense overall in 2021. We also get on some tangents and we talk about Jalen Hurts in

quarterbacking and corner backing and some other really interesting stuff. It's a great interview.
