Mr. Bill Mutz, how are you, sir? I am great and honored to

be part of this podcast and even considered as a Florida man. It was an over-brainer. We're honored to

be here at City Hall. Yeah, and you've done a lot of great things for our city, and it's just

this was a really important interview for us and so thank you again

it means a lot my pleasure now when you you were mayor first in 2018 correct that is correct

and and but then prior to that um when you when you first came to Lakeland you owned the Lakeland

Auto Mall correct I we came to Lakeland, you owned the Lakeland Auto Mall. Correct. We came to Lakeland really

purchasing that business, which was in 1996. And had looked for businesses in Texas, Florida,

and Indiana. I was from Indianapolis and couldn't acquire a dealership in Indianapolis.

And so Florida became kind of our target spot in Lakeland had the available one we could purchase.

And so prior to that, you were in Indiana.

Yes.

And that was something that you just, an industry you wanted to get into.
