Welcome to the Athletic Football Show. I'm Robert Mays. On yesterday's show, we chatted about

some of the position groups that have been totally remade this offseason, like big, loud

changes to certain areas of these rosters. Today, we're talking about the sneaky editions

that were made on the veteran market this off season and how that might impact some of these

teams. We didn't lay out. I didn't

lay out the exact parameters for this when I was asking the guys to come up with a list of names.

We wanted to focus on guys that were making less than 10 million bucks, aren't big name players,

aren't superstars you're really thinking that much about. The guys that are on some of these

smaller contracts, but for one reason

or another, they are going to be important players for teams this year and the way that

those teams' plans are going to come together.

So really enjoyed digging into about a dozen sneaky additions this offseason with Derek

and Dave.

But when you're adding three new guys, it's kind of

hard to hide. Like, we've seen what those changes look like. Today, we wanted to dig a little

bit deeper and talk about a handful of players that when we go through the whole wave of free agency

and we're doing those live shows, there are going to be some one-year, $5 million

deals that we just don't talk about very much.
