Good evening, everyone. Radio Free Mormon here and welcome to Mormonism live. The title of tonight's show is

the sneakiest Mormon apologetic of them all. It's the sneakiest trick. And this has started to become a little bit

frustrating to me because after over six years of calling the church out on this and correcting them every time I catch

them doing this dishonest trick, they still keep doing it. And they do it as recently as earlier

this year. I don't know how to explain it. What do you think, Bill? The same old tricks have been

played since the apologetics started in response to Philastrius Hurlbutt and Iber D. Howe's book.

And so lots of arguments get used over and over again. And when you squash them, they keep coming

back. It's like some demon thing that you just can't get rid of in poltergeist.

I would just think that if the object is to find the truth

you might want to pursue the path that leads to it like being honest yeah good luck with that

mormons yeah really okay so anyway we've got a great slideshow here tonight and let me go ahead

and start off on this for just a second okay and then a little bit later we'll get through some announcements. Is that okay, Bill?

I can't tell about everybody in the front row, but one of them looks suspiciously like Stephen

Smoot. I think he's there applauding our hero, Quakou. And we get Quakou up here for a specific reason. And that's because he's the first one that I sort of tangled with on this subject as Radio Free Mormon.

What this is is this, is it has to do with drawing parallels between productions of Joseph Smith, right?

And ancient texts or even not so ancient texts, but old text, right?
