When reading these books, I always find such amazing information that ever makes it into

the podcast, and here I get a chance to give you a peek into the book.

I've put a link to the book in the show notes, and I did seek permission to record this

extract, and the author kindly said yes. Well, I'm going to be reading from chapter 7,

which is titled The Smurl Haunting, and this is what Maxime has written.

Commonly known as a fixer-upper, the property was built in 1896 and needed extensive renovations,

including repainting, plumbing repairs and electrical updates.
