Hi, this is Josh Marshall and this is the Josh Marshall podcast.

We're going to talk about a few different things in today's episode, but just this morning

I had a chat and it sounds like I had a chat with a member of congress, like there's

something I do every day, it's something I was never do.

But a member of congress reached out to me and said, you know, you want to meet for

coffee.

I'm not going to say who it is only because it wasn't that kind of thing, you know, just

wasn't an interview or something like that, but it was an interesting conversation.

I was going to kind of reference a few things from that.

And you know, one thing we talked about, everybody says now that globalization is over, that

that's done.

I think that is right.

In as much as everything is being, you know, there's a huge, we just, you know, congress

just passed this chips bill, which is basically getting the US back, you know, back into the

chips semiconductor business, bringing that home, both for national security reasons.
