Raship Erdogan, has slapped back the US sanctioning of Turkish officials with a sanction of his own.

First of all, the word sanction is the worst word in the English language.

I get from context, you could usually understand that it means penalties,

but it also, depending on context, means approval.

So it is itself and the opposite of itself.

There are other words like this, you know, oversight to offer oversight and arm with an oversight.

But most of those words like fresh, don't be fresh versus funky fresh or explode as in the idea of interesting podcast about murders have exploded.

Most of those you can get from context actually, I was purposefully vague with that explode one.

But sanction and sanction really are confusing, even in context.
