Well frankly Monday's are not easy for any of us

These weeks seem to start and end with so much uncertainty right like we're already to feel settled again

I mean those I'm physically closest to in my life right now that I'm willing to tell you about are my mailman

The three-year-old in the house across the street who stares at me through my front window several hours a day

And then the squirrel that has truly claimed my backyard is his domain and is not a person

But a terrorist squirrel king and then of course producer Mike who I only see through my computer screen

But if you think about it

Life has always been full of so much uncertainty like one thing I think 2020 has shown us thus far

Is that we were all far too comfortable

We took far too much for granted

Uncertainty has always been there, but we found ways to avoid reckoning with it

We filled our lives with distractions like our days

From the second we open our eyes to the second we close them are packed full of so much stimuli in 2020 that when you really think about it

It's not all that surprising when now when our routines have been blasted to hell

We're struggling to stay occupied and our minds have no choice

But to kind of acknowledge that uncertainty of life when you strip away all the distractions
