I'm Brittany Loose and you're listening to It's Been A Minute from NPR, a show about

what's going on in culture and why it doesn't happen by accident. For the past eight weeks I have been bringing the Smackdown, a debate series, to American cities all across the country

to find out what are the most influential things and the most important people that come
