What's going on, going on guys look you've known jason a lot longer than i have and he's been on the show a lot longer than i have so you get a pass it's the first time you've done that and i've been on the show can i get a friend without a jane name yeah girlfriend has a jane name for god's sakes i'm just i think we just We're going to change Paul's name to Jall. Jall. Yeah.

Clearly just some rust from the layoff over spring train. Absolutely. Wow. Spring training. See, oh, my shit. I'm on. You're rusty too. Yeah. Justin and I have chosen to actually take a break. We've enjoyed the all-star break. We didn't do our chats this week. We haven't been doing anything. Like we don't always, by the way. That's the only reason I'm pointing it out. I'm not saying like we're heroes or anything. Well, you usually go camping, don't you. Around there sometimes. Yeah. But yeah, I don't always. A lot of times I'm still like, well, I can do some work while other people aren't and I can get ahead.

It's like, no, relax for a minute. So I've enjoyed it. It's been nice, but we're back. The grind really kicks back in tonight when the SP chart comes back for the second half. but it's been nice.

And I enjoyed All-Star Week.

the derby,

the game,

none of which I'm like,

I have to see or else,

but I enjoy all of it.

Futures game. thought it was fun the draft the derby the game none of which i'm like i have to see or else but i enjoy all of it futures game i hate that it's seven innings i think that's the stupidest thing ever but at least it's on and it's on saturdays and it's fun so i like all-star week go ahead just can i just like because i for years have talked about this on the pod like i don't watch the all-star week. I don't watch Elmer on Der. Like I don't watch the All-Star Week, right?

Like I don't watch the Home Run Derby. I don't watch the All-Star game. I just happened to tune into the All-Star game. I watched bits and pieces of the Home Run Derby this year because I wasn't camping. It was actually just home. But like, you know, it is what it is. It's fun. but like I don't really care that much about it.

I just don't want anybody to get hurt.

But I tuned into the last few innings of the All Star, our All-Star game. And man, am I glad I did? Because that freaking swing off was awesome. It was awesome. And I didn't know about it. I didn't either. Nobody.

I'm like, I'm not not dialed in, obviously.

I'm pretty dialed into things. I did not know. And it was great that I didn't. I loved that it was a surprise. I was like, they're doing swing off. People talk about this all the time. You know, settle a game with a home run derby. And they did it. and dude how ice cold is schwarber you just knew he was to pop off. And if he had somehow fallen short or if Aranda had hit like three, you know Pete was going to come and do the same.

There was someone on Twitter that posted a winning ticket of Alonzo winning the All-Star MVP.

Oh my God, that sucks because he had it. He had like, he had it.

Shwerber doesn't hit three home runs. It's his all day. It was something like $100,000 to win like $8,000 or something like that. Oh, my God. Well, I mean, it wasn't yours until the game was over, right? Like, that's not how it works. I do understand the frustration, though, because he was the only candidate until the very end. It was just so obviously Pete, and then everything exploded there. I'm sure he, that person with that ticket hates some particular pitchers in the National League that let the American League get back into it. But we are going to talk pitchers today.
