a wide spectrum of player types, some are waiver pickups, some were drafted in deep brillings.

You know, you can't, you can't get the vibe. I mean yesterday we ran, we ran the gamut from somebody like a Cal Raleigh, who is in deep

brilling to, to catcher situation or like, let's say even a Frenchie Cordero or Santiago, I spent all might even be lower than them, all the way up to

Terro Ward, who's a, an all formats must start right now. So again, there's not a particular player type, it's just somebody who's been a standout.

And what can they do going forward? So you look at Jeff McNeil, and he's at a nice bounce back season. He's told me 142 WRC plus

Babibs up big time, literally 80 points up to a 360 mark that has his line at 323 384 57. That's been huge.

There hasn't really been a power jump. I mean, it's been there, but it's, it's more in line with 20, the shortened 20, then it is with the 19, which is going to always stand out as kind of his

his spike here. You know, the ball was wild. That obviously played a role in it might have been all of it. Maybe he was selling out for power, knowing that the ball was playing that way, you know, he kind of like, maybe he's just like, he knows his limits.

And so unless the ball is springy, maybe Jeff McNeil's like, I don't, I don't need to go for a homeers. I can contribute like this. I don't know, but he hit 23 that that year.

And he has, let's see, 15 cents in 239 games, which is a 106 more than he had in all of 2019. So power's not a big part of his game. He has four homeers, two steals.

But 33 runs, 33 ribbies. He's definitely contributing at a pretty substantial level. Obviously, when you're hitting that kind of batting average in this environment, no less.

323 is going to play in any era, but in this era, it's really nice. So even if you're only pacing for 10 homeers, five steals, you go in 80, 80 on the runs, ribbies with the big batting average.

There's enough there for him to have value in that CIMI, um, CIMI outfield range. I think he, I think he has all three of those. Let me actually check that.

Oh, just second and outfield. So middle or your fourth fifth outfielder with Jeff McNeil. I think you're feeling like you're in a pretty good spot.

Another catcher on this list, William Contraris, Wilson's brother is doing a great impression of big bro. The 24 year old backstop for the Braves has nine homeers already.

One more than he had all of last year in 45 fewer played appearances. 19 ribbies, two steals, 19 runs, 264 average is really nice too.

Basically, I think, I think the average jump is as 100% just a better rabbit. He was hitting a few more ground balls, which can actually add to Babib. So that would check out, but it's up from 265 to 308.

I don't really see anything else. You know, there's a little bit of a hard hit jump to and those things all work in concert.

So I, again, I don't say the Babib thing to be like, that's lucky. He's not earning it. I'm saying that that rise in Babib is driving the batting average gains, although 308 is hardly egregious. 265 was pretty low.
