We are going to talk about this news that we're hearing about the

end of the world. It's here. Yeah. And so what do you think, guys? September 23rd. Yeah. It's here.

It's on us. Do you have your freezer packed food? It's all ready to go. I've pitched a tent next door

to Hal Lindsay's house because I know he's going to be

raptured.

And if I'm still behind, then I'll know that I'm in trouble.

So, yeah.

Well, what has spurred some of these speculations most recently?

The plain teaching of the word of God.

Well, there's been a lot of natural disasters lately.

So with some of the high-profile disasters, not just the storms in the Gulf of Mexico, but there's been some other earthquakes and that sort of thing in various parts of the world.

And as is always the case when we see these things happening, there are the inevitable voices that begin to speculate.

These are the signs of

the end times. Now, has Kim Jong-un yet been identified as the Antichrist? He can't be the

Antichrist because he's not tall, good-looking and with an Eastern European accent. Duh. Read your

Bible next time, Carl. So the thing that we have to navigate carefully is, on the one hand, when we see tragic things happen in this world, we do need to talk about them in terms, at some point, in terms of the fallenness of this world, in terms of what things can be properly

understood as expressions of God's judgment in this world, him turning this world over to its
