episode for the 2006 year. And I'm going to get right to our guest on this episode. We are starting

the year out with a fabulous guest, James Randy. James Randy is a renowned skeptical investigator

and educator. I began his career as a professional magician performing under the name the Amazing Randy

and now runs the James Randy Educational Foundation which you can visit their website at randy.org.

The J-Ref as we call it, administers the famous million dollar psychic challenge which I'm sure we'll

talk about. Randy is known as the scourge of Huxters, Con artist, Charlotons and Quacks everywhere as

he delights in exposing their lies and deceptions. Lectures extensively on critical thinking on

skepticism and exposing fraud, the author of numerous books including The Mask of Notre-Dommies and

Flim Flam. Randy, welcome to the skeptic sky. Welcome. I doubt that. Thanks for joining us. We

appreciate you coming on. Pleasure to be here for my first visit and I think I should announce

right off the top that starting early in February we will be doing a podcast via our own website

at www.randy.org. It's something I should have gotten into some time ago for actually

these and I'm happy to be in on yours and I'm going to start my own. Excellent. Another skeptical

podcast is always a good thing. Randy, do you anticipate a weekly or monthly podcast?

It will be weekly. Weekly, okay? Yeah sure it's going to be very popular. Well I hope so we'll see.

He actually we had been talking with I believe Linda and some of your people about having a one-stop

shopping for a skeptical podcast or at least mutual links so somebody people can go to one location

and access all of the skeptical podcasts that are being made out there. There's only a few of them.
