0:33.2	This week we have with us, Dr. Robert Park, who was a professor of physics and the former
0:39.0	chair of the Department of Physics at the University of Maryland.
0:43.2	He currently divides his time between teaching and informing me just recently that tomorrow
0:49.4	I guess is the first day of the academic year for him.
0:52.9	And he also manned the Washington DC Office of the American Physical Society, which he himself
0:59.3	opened in 1982.
1:01.1	And the reason why he's on our program is because Bob Park is the author of the book,
1:05.9	Voodoo Science, the road from foolishness to fraud, and is very well written in the areas
1:13.1	of pseudoscience and is an advocate and very active in teaching science to the public.
