The angle has landed. Welcome back, everybody. This is the first of many special sub-episodes,

or let's call it a sub-series associated with the podcast. We're going to call it science fiction or

fact. So this gives us an opportunity to really just explore some of the things that I'm interested in.

One of these interesting subjects is the, and of course this has a tie-in to my role as a representative

and what we use taxpayer money for and what the government has been up to.

Also has a tie-in to my former

career, I worked a lot in the intelligence community, especially after I was injured when I

couldn't really deploy the platoon anymore. And as it turns out, there's some really interesting

history on the paranormal within the CIA and then the Army from the early 70s into the mid-90s.

And there was a number of programs, and they were in conjunction with the Stanford Research Institute.

And they especially centered around remote viewing as a, basically as a, another tool in the toolkit, another, another pillar of intelligence, okay? Because oftentimes you have human intelligence, which is source reporting. You have signals intelligence, which is, you know, intercepting calls and things of that nature you have open

source reporting kind of intelligence and there's all of these different types of intel and there

was an exploration in the u.s government as to whether people with extra abilities let call it, could use remote viewing to see into a target.

So we've been trying to track down a lot of the scientists that worked on this, and especially

nail down what is the connection to science?

And what are the experimental and clinical observations that took place that would indicate that there's really even something going on here?

And it turns out there's a lot.

I remain pretty skeptical about the whole thing.

It seems very difficult to reproduce. It seems difficult to

find some real smoking guns here. But listen to this conversation. It's pretty fascinating.
