I personally would like people to explain to me what the heck happened last night

and maybe you are a podcast audience would be interested in hearing that as well.

So what we were shut down and now we are not shut down?

Yeah, we had like a brief from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m. overnight shutdown.

It all started because, as you remember, about three-ish weeks ago, two and a half weeks ago,

there was a three-day government shutdown and the end of that was this two-week spending bill

that carried us to February 8th.

Within that time, Congress was supposed to negotiate some kind of budget cap steel

and some kind of immigration deal, and then they would come together and fund the government again on February 8th.

And then some time in the last week, that all seemed to fall apart.
