There is nothing worth living for unless it is worth dying for.

My grandmother lived a life devoted to Jesus, and today her talks have been made available

in their original form.

So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout

her ministry.

Now without further ado, here is Elizabeth Elliott.

Jesus said in his prayer just before he died, I have glorified the on the earth.

I have finished the work that thou gave us to me to do.

Now you and I are supposed to be like Jesus and like our master in the completion of

the work that God gives us to do.

It's very appropriate that we just heard a song that says somebody is running out of time,

not very far from here.

And we who are obviously old certainly know that we're running out of time.

But you young folks, you have no idea whether you're going to be given another day or

not.

None of us knows.

And so the great question is, will we be able to say when we face our master, I have glorified

the on the earth, I have finished the work you gave me to do.

That is my prayer.

I suppose like almost everybody here, I often feel as though I have way too much to do.

There just isn't any way that I'm going to get it all done.

But I do believe with all my heart that it is always possible to do the will of God.
