Now as we come to the Word of God, I want to draw your attention back to the Gospel of Mark.

Back to the Gospel of Mark. Back to the Gospel of Mark.

Mark is one of four Gospels, as you know, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

The purpose of the four Gospels is laid out in the end of John's gospel, these things are written that you might believe

that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, and believing might have life in his name.

That fits both Mark and John as well as Matthew and Luke.

That is the purpose of the four Gospels that you might know that Jesus is the Christ,

So the goal of the Gospels is to understand who Jesus is
