Thank you. Good morning to you. Good morning to you. My chums. My chums across the world. How are you? Hopefully you're all good out there. And welcome once again to the Join Up Dot's podcast. Now, as I've turned up my microphone this morning and I've set everything up

in front of me. And as I'm just about recording this, it's one of those dark, wet mornings

that Britain seems to be very good at giving us. And across the world, you all had those same

when you're waking up and the rain's pattering on the windows

and the weld outside looks like it's it's just going to be just just sort of miserable really now

a lot of people will look at that scene and immediately feel their energy drop and I'm saying that to

my wife she's one of those people she'll look out and

she'll go oh god what a miserable day oh everything's rubbish what uh you know um bit like ior

do remember ior for winnie the poo oh everything's gonna be rubbish she's that kind of person and

a lot of people are and they're grown and they're mutter and they just see it negatively, but I do something different and I think it's probably one of the most powerful things I do. I choose differently. I actually decide the day is going to be great before I even open my eyes.

And that one little choice, before I've even opened my eyes and I'm in bed and I'm just

going right, here we go, let's put the feet out the duvet.

It sets the foundation for everything else that follows I'm

absolute believer in this I jump out going yes come on life this is going to be great

because it's it's not it's not a weather that makes your day miserable it's not the day

at all it's not the traffic it's not the bills it's not the emails it's not miserable. It's not the day at all. It's not the traffic. It's not the bills.

It's not the emails. It's not the boss. It's not that. It's just the lens you choose to look through.

Because the world is neutral. It's neither good nor bad. But we decide whether it's good or bad.

We decide whether it's heavy or light. So when I choose to

say this is going to be a brilliant day, all I've done is giving my brain an instruction and I've told
