that God is rich in mercy and desires to dwell

with us.

Just thinking about like, when you think about who God is, okay, let's not overcomplicate

Christmas. I know we want to oh let's you know do a great

Christmas or like sometimes we overcomplicate things and we forget just the simple

truth that is so powerful okay right now in heaven there is a being that if we saw him, we would be terrified.

He would just take our breath away.

I would just collapse.

And that God who's keeping us all alive, the Bible says, even despite our sin, even though we have done things that he absolutely hates

the Bible says that he is rich in mercy so that God is terrifying as holy holy, as powerful as he is, he says, I am rich in mercy.

That means there's something about that. God, I mean, you got to understand. He didn't have to be

that way. What if the news, when Moses came down from the mountain and God's explaining

his name to him, all Moses says is God is terrifying and he hates our sin. And the people here,

oh shoot, that's who God is.

We know he's terrifying.

We see the fire on the mountain.
