Hey, everyone. Think back on your junior high history textbook. They made a list of the craziest things

that have ever happened and then said, how can we make this boring? Today we're doing a history

book that forgot to be boring. It's the Silk Roads by Peter Frankapan. I'm Kellanerskin. I'm a comic, a father,

and it was fun to read a history book about the rest of the world that we never

heard about and tell this book, and that I'll never hear about again.

And I'm David Vance. This book made me realize we should have Asian history taught alongside

European history, because I think students should also have a chance to memorize this for a test and then forget it forever.

The Silk Roads is a fascinating history book that argues many historians totally ignore the role of Asia.
