In April of 1963 at a military hospital in Yemen, a pair of twin girls were born.

These births were not unusual nor were their actions and lies as infants, but soon enough

their parents began to see that June and Jennifer Gibbons were not like other girls.

And the life of the women known as the silent twins had begun.

Almost 30 years of hardships, crimes, and institutionalization would pass before one of the twins met

her on timely death.

That sparked a change that would bring about a sense of normalcy in a life of her sister

and the silence was broken.
