Claire, come here, a feminine voice called out. Claire took a swig of the remaining corner of her drink.

Her living room was eclipsed by the sounds of her,

rattling against the window panes of the living room.

The conversations from earlier in the day

were festering on her heart and mind as the faint sounds of her mother's television offered the

white noise of forensic files in the background. For Claire, the world had not yet begun to spin,

but it was coming.

The mixture of drinks and fatigue wasn't a good one,

and it's often a crapshoot with 50-50 odds when it's a party for one.

However, Claire just wanted to be whisked away from the sense of overwhelm overtaking her.
