Summary

The Sick Day is a rhyming story about a child who wakes up feeling very sick but wants to believe she is well. She has big plans for the day that do not involve her being sick. As her Dad takes care of her, she begins to see the upsides of being a patient and the importance of getting her rest. This story also features Sophie the Sloth (aren’t sloths awesome?!) who turns out to have an interesting backstory. Enjoy! Make sure you are subscribed to the podcast so you never miss a new episode! I love to hear your feedback and your ideas for future stories! You can email me at [email protected]. Take a moment to share LSFTP with your local parents organization or Facebook community!
