So the other day we were going through planning for the show looking at the calendar

figuring out when to do the tales of terror call out. It's coming I promise.

When Becka and I, we smacked into a reality. We looked at each other.

And in the fall, we always asked for short submissions and we looked at each other and we knew what the other one was thinking.

Will the diaries be there in 2025 to run those shorts.

For the last six months, that question has been at the center of Fekinized world.

It's a big thing, and it's freaking sucked. This has been a beautiful thing that we created together with you, our community and you know we know that even things that are thriving die

because the show is thriving in so many ways it truly really is I mean we're actually

growing with our number of subscribers we've got a book out we're hoping to do

tours that the stories have been great but but the back end, the reality of companies wanting to

support this in meaningful ways isn't what it was. And that's a lot of different

reasons, but it's not happening.

Realistically, we probably needed to sound this alarm six months ago.

But I was too proud or too afraid to ask.

And I thought also that Beck and I could but I was too proud or too afraid to ask.

And I thought also that Beck and I,

we could bring in another big sponsor

after Patagonia left.

We tried our best, and that is not happening.

And even if it could, I'm not sure that that's the best way to support this type of creativity and community engagement.
