0:39.0	My husband Nathaniel and I lived in San Francisco for nearly a decade and this murder involves
0:44.1	a prominent and seemingly truly beloved member of the tech community that we were a part
0:50.0	of while we were there.
0:51.8	So let's dive in on Tuesday, April 4, news broke that tech executive Bob Lee had been
0:58.4	killed in a brutal stabbing over the previous night in San Francisco.
1:03.2	The first part of the reaction was an absolute outpouring of grief.
1:07.3	For many in the community, Bob was completely larger than life.
1:11.4	He was an extremely successful entrepreneur having founded cash app as the first CTO of
1:16.9	Square, which has become one of the most prominent mobile money apps across America.
1:21.7	Before that, he had been a major contributor to Android and Google.
1:25.8	Most recently, Bob had continued his path in mobile money as the chief product officer
1:30.2	at Mobilecoin, a blockchain startup that was trying to make global payments cheaper
1:35.2	and more private for people around the world.
1:37.8	Still, it wasn't his entrepreneurial acumen that attracted people to Bob.
1:42.6	It was his energy.
