The What is up? Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the Elder Scrolls podcast with Fudge Muppet. I'm Scott here with Michael Andrew as always. And today we have an episode dedicated to the Shivering Isles, the Dajic of Sheaegorath and we're gonna try and keep it a little bit more

away from Shea Gourath himself and instead discuss the sort of land and law and

history of the area itself and the geography and such so which one of you

fellas would like to take it away well I guess as much as we don't want

to talk about Shea Ghorath, it is technically part of him, as all Dadric realms are part of the

Dadryk Prince that, you know, created them and is them. I think if you're bringing up the

geography and the map, I guess, that we go to in the DLC for Oblivion.

It almost looks like a cross section of a brain.

Yeah.

Which I find quite interesting.

If you're looking at a brain side on, it's kind of like a cross section.

And then, of course, as we know, to represent the kind of, I guess, bipolar elements of insane mind. You've

got on one hand, two polar opposites. So you've got mania on one side and dementia on the other.

And that's how the realm is split into your two different, you know, geographic areas with

the inhabitants in those areas belonging to the theme

of it. So on the mania side, you've got all these really hypothymic, you know, high-energy

manic people who are highly indulgent.

Euphoric.

And on the dementia side, you've got all the kind of like paranoid, evil, kind of like sadistic type.

And also melancholy, depressive kind of vibes over there.

And it's reflected physically very much so in terms of lots of bright colors and lots
