Hello and welcome to another episode of What Went Wrong.

0:24.6

I am one of your host Lizzie Bassett here in spirit, but not physically, of course.

0:29.9

Because of a pandemic with our co-host Chris Winterbauer. Chris, how's it going?

0:34.7

Going well, feeling good about that third take of the intro. You know, finally got it together there.

0:40.7

Thanks for being here, guys, for another spooktacular episode of What Went Wrong,

0:45.8

your favorite podcast covering film disasters and production mishaps on your favorite

0:50.6

flops and success stories. As Lizzie mentioned, it's October, so it's spooky, spooky

1:44.6

otherwise, good job Stanley. I loved it. Very good.

1:49.1

Yes, Clarkson. I have one more one more thing, which I wonder if you're going to talk about

1:54.1

today, but the only thing that joking aside that does bother me a tiny bit about this movie

2:00.4

is that it doesn't seem like Jack Nicholson's character changes much. Like he is a weirdo from

2:06.9

the get go. Yes. And then he's just weird throughout. He is just a piece of shit from the

2:14.2

weekend. We will talk, we will, we will talk about that. So the shining is, if you don't know,

2:22.6

and I don't know how you wouldn't know, but if you don't, the shining is a 1980 horror film produced

2:27.2

and directed by Stanley Kubrick written by Stanley Kubrick and Diane Johnson, based on the 1977
