Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. Galatians, chapter 4, they've got the verses on the screen for you and I'm going to take my time tonight and I'm going to do a review and I'm not

going to lie and say it's going to be short because I don't really know. I want it to be short

but I don't know that I'm in control.

Matter of fact, I know that I'm not.

And that's a good place to be.

So Galatians, chapter four. And I'm going to begin reading again in verse 21. I want to reference this thing.

I was with my apostle, many of you heard me so I was going to be with him the last few days and so I was with

him the last few days leading up to this.

Had such an amazing, amazing time.

Be more to talk about that in the days to come.

But when I spent some time with him, he began to tell the story. I told him how

Yawe was delivering us from Ishmael and part of our dismissal of Ishmael, Yawe spoke to me and he said,

the last part of the law that you've held on to is the tithe.

And I begin to explain to God how that wasn't true,

because tithing predated the law. Before Moses was given a law, Abraham was

instituting the tithe through his relationship with Melkizdek or Malik Zadok.

And so when he was instituting the tithe, he was predating the law, and I said, so the tithe remains

relevant because it predates the law, he said, then circumcision would also have to remain relevant because equally

it predates the law. And Paul is saying to the Galatians that are being forced

by a Judaism, Phariseical influence to go back and re-observed the law,

O foolish Galatians who has bewitched you,

that you would get sucked back into the trap of Judaism.
