Thank you for listening to this message from Damon Thompson Ministries. I'm just going to jump right in and begin to talk about culture a little bit because it's what I feel in my heart after that expression.

What you experience this evening is really a demonstration of

revival or a move of the spirit inside of a particular culture, which would be the

Shepherd's tent here tonight. How many of you, the Shepherds Tent here tonight.

How many of you, the Shepherds Tent's your home?

Shepherds Tent, okay, so how many of you, the Shepherds Tints not your home?

You go to church somewhere else.

So the vast majority.

But this is why it's important not just to have these meetings at Hope Chapel.

This is why it's important to go to Chattanooga,

which is totally different culture than what most of us are familiar with, but it's wonderful, it's beautiful because it's the kingdom of God.

And when we were eight years ago, when we were going back and forth between Chattanooga and the Panhandle of Florida,

specifically in the Panhandle of Florida, and we moved those revivals to at least six different places.

We had 13 pastors that were participating on a

regular basis and we did them in six different buildings. And each time

we moved the revival, a nuance of the manifestation of the spirit came as a consequence

of us bringing our heart for the Lord into a culture that had something to add that had

not been present. It creates the cocktail so to speak when we begin to bring it into another culture.

What mature believers do is they recognize that even though what is going on in a particular

culture is not what I'm accustomed to. It might not even be what I favor, but

it's necessary if you and I are going to move into the full expression of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.
