Hello and welcome back to Crimelines, just to catch us up to where we left off with part one,

three of the Shafia's seven children were found drowned in a car,

19-year-old Zanab, 17-year-old Sahar, and 13-year-old Gide.

Alongside them was their father's first wife from his polygamous marriage, Rona Amir Muhammad.

Though Rona was not the biological mother of any of the children, she did help raise all of them,

and she was the primary caretaker for Sahar, so I would characterize her as a mother figure to

most of them, but to Sahar, she was her mother.

The biological parents of the girls, Mohamed and Tubah, along with their 18-year-old son,
