Summary
What started as a simple slumber party between cousins turned into one of the strangest experiences their family has ever shared. Late into the night, after everyone had settled into the upstairs loft to sleep, two children separately woke to the sight of a dark shadow figure standing silently nearby.
One saw it leaning directly over the couch staring down at him. Another saw the same figure near the top of the stairs hours later.
Neither child knew the other had experienced anything until breakfast the next morning, when both began describing the exact same shadowy presence in the room.
