And today I am welcoming back to the show for the first time in a really long time. Somebody that I've known for many years, Janet Wirtman. Janet, welcome back.

It is a pleasure to be here. Thank you. I think today we're going to talk about the Seymour's a lot. But the subject that Janet and I

tend to butt heads on a little bit is Thomas Seymour and in particular the dog incident at

Hampton Court Palace. That, yes, you. As I remember, you love my last book, the Boy King, right up until the point that I had John Chegg give our little king, the dog, a tiny puppy.

And then that was kind of like, this is like the story of my life.

When it comes to anything, Thomas Seymour, as soon as we get to like scandalous parts, I read these books and I go, do I continue forward? Do I continue forward? Because obviously there's some things that I might know that other people don't know. And so I can't hold it against them that they don't know what I know. And yet, you know, it's also usually

historical fiction. So it's there to entertain. And that's what I have to remind myself most of the
