Hey, it's always an honor to have a few minutes with you.

There's something on my heart today, and you're going to meet our guest, Seth Gruber, in just a moment, but

we're presiding over one of the most precipitous declines of Christian influence in the history of the Christian church.

We inherited liberty and freedom and churches on corners and the ability to share the gospel without any pushback really whatsoever.

And in a few short decades, we've seen the Ten Commandments taken out of our schools.

We have seen prayer banished in most public places.

We see a reluctance in the corporate world to come anywhere near a

biblical worldview. And for the most part of that, the church is strangely silent. We've sacrificed

60 million children or more to abortion. We have presided over a sexual revolution that is a nice

sounding word for one of the greatest explosions of sexual immorality that the civilized

culture has ever known. And the church is bizarrely silent. We're far more interested in building

bridges to the ungodly and the wicked than we are holding up a picture of biblical truth.

If we don't change, God's judgment will come on this generation. And it will not

be because of the depravity of the wicked. It will be because of the indifference of the faithful.

Now, that's you and me. We've got to stop pointing our fingers through the windows of the church,

humble ourselves, put our faces on the ground, and say, God, I will be different. I will stop dishonoring you.

I will stop applauding wickedness. I'll stop being silent in the face of immorality.

I'll use my voice and my influence to be salt and light in the midst of a dark world.

And perhaps God will look upon us with mercy. He has done that.

He did that in Nineveh.

He did it repeatedly throughout the story of the scripture.

He also brought judgment upon his own covenant people.
