Hey deserving listeners, today we have a special guest on the podcast, Lisa Taddejo.

she has written a book called three women and

Oprah magazine calls it an instant feminist classic utterly engrossing and game changing.

So I wanted to talk with her about her book.

So what inspired you to write this book?

I had read Gay to Lisa's Thy Neighbors Wife.

So it was written in 1980.

It was taking the pulse of sexuality back in the 70s, a lot of the Swinger culture, and

Mr. Toulice, who is a very well respected journalist in the journalism community, had spent

about a decade much as I did, immersing himself in the notion in the sort of field of sexuality across the country and he

participated in the Swanger's colonies and participated in happy ending

massage parlors and managing one himself and so it was very

immersive in multiple ways and while I admired the immersive aspect of it I also

found that it was very told from a very male perspective a very heterosexual male perspective.

And I wondered what a book about desire might look like told from a female perspective.
