Amen. Please stand with me for the reading of God's Word. Our text today is Matthew,

Chapter 4, verses 1 through 11. Again, that's the gospel according to Matthew chapter 4

Then Jesus was led up by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting

But he answered, it is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from
