This morning we continue our series through the gospel according to Matthew, our particular text is Matthew

chapter 6, verses 7 through 15. Again, that's Matthew chapter 6 versus 7 through 15. I'll read our text

for us in its entirety when I finish reading the text. I'm going to say, this is the word of the

Lord, at which point I would appreciate very much if you would respond by saying thanks be to God. One final time, our text again is the gospel according to Matthew

chapter 6, verses 7 through 15. The Bible says this, but when you pray, use not vain repetitions

as the heathen do, for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking,

but not ye, therefore, like unto them, for your father knoweth what things you have need of

before you ask him. After this manner, therefore pray you, our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done

in earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

and lead us not into temptation but but deliver us from evil, for thine

is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. For if ye forgive men their trespasses,
