0:31.1 | On August 16th, 1751, Jonathan Edwards was invited to give a sermon on a special occasion. |

0:59.8 | Mohawk chiefs are there and Mohawk Indians and there's Jonathan Edwards. |

1:10.4 | but the highlight of the moment was for Edwards's sermon. |
1:14.6 | And so Edwards stands up and he says, these honorable gentlemen treat or come in the name of |
1:20.7 | King George, but I in the name of Jesus Christ. |
1:25.2 | And then Edwards proceeds right to his text. |
1:27.8 | 2 Peter, chapter 1, verse 19. |
1:30.8 | We have also a more sure word of prophecy. Where unto you do well that you take heed |
1:37.9 | as unto a light that shines in a dark place until the day dawn and the day star arise in your hearts. |
